Marcelo Garcia Jiu-Jitsu: From World Champion to Coach || BJJ Hacks in NYC

Marcelo Garcia is one of the greatest jiu-jitsu competitors to ever step foot onto a mat, and he is equally respected as a teacher of the art. His Manhattan gym draws visitors from around the world, and we wanted to see what kind of environment Marcelo had created.

In this video he describes how his experiences and history shaped him into the teacher he is today; we meet and speak to his instructors and students to discover Marcelo’s qualities as a coach; and we hear his plans for the future now he’s retired from competition.
